Mark Dehn of Blencoe, Iowa, has been selected as the grand prize winner of the “LEXION Driven to Win Giveaway” contest offered by CLAAS of America. The prize is the use of a new LEXION combine and header from CLAAS, which Dehn will receive for the 2015 harvest season.

Mark was a little suspicious on Friday, April 10, when his territory manager, Todd Enke of Ziegler Ag Equipment, stopped by the farm with a bit of an entourage. “I really didn’t tip him off too much when I asked to stop by. He definitely wasn’t sure what was going on,” said Enke. Among the surprise visitors were Pat Flinn, Iowa ag region sales manager for Ziegler Ag Equipment, as well as Allen Miller, division sales manager for CLAAS, Jeremy Bailiff, CLAAS regional program manager and John Costello, CLAAS external marketing coordinator.

“I’m excited to try out the new technology and see how it runs this fall,” said Dehn.

Mark Dehn, who farms with his brothers Mitch and Matt and father Mike, sent his registration in last fall for the chance to win. After a bit of a wait, Mark was surprised to discover that he was the lucky winner. The family grows corn and soybeans on a large farm in western Iowa, where the Dehns have been working the ground for many generations.

Mark’s new LEXION 750 TT combine and header will be delivered to the farm this fall in time for harvest. In the meantime, he was left with a model of the combine and a set of keys to remind him of things to come.
