HARDI North America announces daily Ride & Drives of their Rubicon 9000 sprayer at the 63rd Annual 3i SHOW October 12-14, 2017. The daily event will be held in the Demonstration Area located on the northeast corner of the Western State Expo Center show grounds. The Rubicon, boasted as the “largest sprayer in America,” will be on display following the demonstrations in spaces O-39-46.

The Rubicon, unveiled in July of 2017, is the highest capacity self-propelled sprayer in the market with a 2200 gallon (9000-litre) stainless steel tank. The front-mounted boom decreases the number of folds required for transport, it has an optional auto height control to help maintain low boom heights to control spray drift, and is mounted to a suspension system that allows independent stiffness control for the springs and hydraulic rams.

Instead of shocks, the Rubicon has an individual suspension system for each wheel. The front mounting helps with visibility from the cab and more evenly distributes the total loaded weight. Triple airbags and a heavy-duty shock absorber are located between the leading arm on the axle hub and a trailing arm.

The tall, narrow tires reduce rolling resistance and crop damage. A Cummins 8.9L QSL 9 Tier 3A engine powers the Rubicon 9000.
